Ray Kajioka is a german techno producer, DJ and live performer since 1995. He is well-known for his work on Kanzleramt Music, Rotation Records, MakTub, Müller Records, as well as his remixes for names like Dave Clarke, Pawas, Joel Mull and Beroshima.

A distinguishing and striking aspect of his music is certainly the warm spheric and impulsive sound, which is constantly present in all his productions. Ray's live and DJ-performance encompasses all the elements of today's modern Techno-NuHouse, but has it’s feet firmly planted in the roots of the Detroit-vibe. "The typical Ray-sound!", as some call it simply, is appreciated all around the globe and had taken him to events in Japan, Russia, The Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Lithuania amongst others.

Born in Portugal in the city of Barcelos, electronic music enthusiast since the age of 12, spent hours in the local record stores in search of vinyl and it sounded better at home, mix them and "learned" them back to forward.
At age 15, he had his first gig at a local bar and, since then, the passion never left him. He played sporadically up to 18 years, continuing to do your homework and collect records, until he was offered a weekly residential club with a capacity for 300 people, where he stayed for two years.
Dissatisfied with the musical paradigm that was heard, decides to take a break and pursue a career as a freelancer, focusing their attention on club nights and truly alternative, where he could express his musical tastes without any restriction and remains so to date.

Bas Amro (Enschede ‘91) is a new boy in the scene that is here to stay. Since his first releases in the beginning of 2008 – on the age of 16 – he kept surprising other dj’s and producers from all over the world with great variation in his productions while keeping one sound. After some small remixes and releases, he now showed the scene why he deserves a spot out there by doing remixes for great producers and labels. While the work for these remixes is really starting to pay off, more original mixes are coming out as we speak. At this moment Amro is working on tracks for some huge respected labels, while more and more producers ask him for remixes. This will all be announced soon, so stay tuned!
Bas Amro’s sound is hard to describe. His tracks are oldskool but modern, they’re deep but dancefloor-effective. He doesn’t limit himself to one style, though he’s no “trendhopper”. While producing house, deephouse, techhouse and even techno, all his productions have something in common that together makes one recognizable sound.
This wide sound got Amro some great gigs, like playing at Joris Voorn’s homebase Atak, Utrecht’s techno-venue Tivoli, the Escape Venue, BLM9, Studio 80, Odeon but also at some very big festivals.
Bas Amro started producing at the age of 12 and bought his first set of decks at his 14th, but inspite him being relatively young, you won’t hear this in his sets and productions. Amro is highly influenced by the roots of the Chicago and Detroit sound which brought him to getting lots of respect and support by the bigger names like Michel de Hey, Jimpster, Gorge, Lauhaus, Deetron, Samuel L Session, Laurent Garnier, Sebo K, Karotte, Thomas Schumacher, Martinez, Varoslav, Radio Slave, John Digweed, Milton Jackson, Osunlade, and the list keeps getting bigger!
Obviously, knowing that right now Bas Amro is only 19 years old, there’s a lot more to come, and with this rapidly growing list of support from artists and labels showing interest it’s all looking promising. As said before; this boy is here to stay!

Tony "T-Lectual" Bove is a constant student of progressive electronic music. He constantly looks for innovative sounds and music to always stay inspired. His goal is to stay inspired, so therefore his audience is constantly inspired. Inspiration is contagious, and Tony loves to inspire and be inspired. This is evident in his emotion fueled DJ sets that always evolve and never stay stagnant. Constantly pushing his creative boundaries, you can also hear his inspiration in his productions.

Born in Korea and raised in different cities spanning the entire US, Tony was exposed to a variety of genre’s and cultures from which he draws his musical inspiration and can be heard in his live shows today. A true artist, his style meshes an eclectic blend of all great things in House music - Deep, Tech, Progressive, Down-Tempo or whatever the occasion demands.

In 2006, Tony graduated with degrees in Audio Engineering and Entertainment Business from the prestigious recording school, Full Sail University in Florida. During his time at Full Sail, Tony honed his production skills by learning from giants like Noel Sanger, Medway and Grammy Nominee Michael Reaves. Since his graduation, he has gone on to produce multiple hits for reputable record labels like Mirabilis, Polytechnic, and Digiprana. His tracks continually receive critical acclaim and support from his peers as well as global DJ icons such as Hernan Cattaneo.
His production background helps him in the DJ booth as well. His understanding of music, his ability to immediately identify the tracks harmonic center and chords allows him to mix tracks seamlessly and create a flawless continual flow of energy on the dance floor.

Due to the success and acclaim he’s received for his productions, Tony recently formed Intellectual Mastering; a company which helps artists with, what is arguably the most important finishing touch to any track, the mastering. Tony’s new venture has quickly gained clientele from record labels and artists in multiple genres including House, Tech, Progressive and Hip-Hop.

Tony has played alongside a myriad of DJ heavyweights including John “Quivver” Graham, Colette, Steve Smooth, and Noel Sanger to name a few. Quickly gaining recognition in his new home town, he was recently voted St. Louis’ Best Progressive House DJ by his peers. Gaining valuable experience playing at a wide range of parties and clubs across the South-East, South and Mid-West states, Tony knows just what to do and when to do it.

Guesse about himself: I was born in an era changed. I love House, I feel the house, the house is my live. I was born out of time, since almost everything that today is hard ignores those habitual patterns of friday and saturday night, and what hurts the most, distorting everything that ever taught me about the nightlife, djing, electronic music, etc.. Well, I feel, live, cry and jump behind a desk and two decks (and as a listener, if dj captivate me know, of course). Do not consider myself a dj, though I walk through the bands to 4 years.
From an early age I began to appreciate tables and players cd's and try to convince my mother to give me a setup. Actually, I bought it with my money (leftover semanadas, gifts of years, excess of everything and anything else) and so began my experience. I admit it took me a long time to learn to do, really, something decent behind those devices. Thanks to a huge community and some specific users for everything they taught me, everything that made me realize.
I will not enumerate've been places where, or with whom I played, because I'm not here to sell me. The biography is about me, not about the places where I played.

The musical level, hear and play a bit of everything, although more enjoyment playing House, Techno and progressive things. With time, I like to acclimatise sets, fosters them, build them and exploding tension behind the decks. It is not always possible/get this effect, but there have machines at home and the objective is to train and fight for more.

As the architect behind many of the stylistic blueprint shifts in dance since the early heady days of acid house, Charlie May knows a thing or two about what makes a dance floor tick.
One half of revered progressive house pioneers Spooky; the engineer and producer of many of Sasha’s biggest singles and albums; highly respected solo producer in his own right, May has remained at the vivacious beating heart of house since the early ’90s.
It was in 1992 that Charlie May and production partner Duncan Forbes made their maiden voyage as Spooky. After meeting and becoming firm friends, they cut their first record for progressive imprint Guerilla Records, ‘Don’t Panic’. It was to prove highly influential in the futuristic new movement in dance music - progressive house - that took the rhythms of acid, and married them to aquatic depths of Detroit techno with overlays of ambient music, to create a fresh new hybrid.
Heralded as figureheads of the progressive house scene, Spooky cemented this by creating their sky strafing and ambitious long-player ‘Gargantuan’. One of the first dance albums of its kind, this pinnacle album would go on to spawn a million sound-a-likes, establishing the production wizardry of Charlie May, whose tweaking and pitch-perfect ear was set to have a huge influence, both in front of and behind the scenes.
3 years later, their most critically acclaimed album – 1995’s ‘Found Sound’ led the duo to become in high demand as remixers, reworking everyone from Sven Väth to William Orbit.
Taking a brief hiatus from Spooky, Charlie May went in search of a new project. Linking up with DJ superstar Sasha, their initial production collaboration was on a soundtrack to hit Playstation game Wipeout 3, and from there, Sasha tasked May with engineering a new version of an unreleased Spooky track ‘Xpander’, which was to become one of Sasha’s signature tracks.
The acclaimed ‘Airdrawndagger’ album (2002), again featured May behind the boards (alongside Junkie XL), as well as the following Global Underground mix album ‘Involver’. But eager to step out of the shadows, May had all this time been honing his solo chops, and with the release of the fresh ‘Bug EP’ on Junior Boys Own London, he began to garner props as a producer in his own right. Charlie’s solo incarnation was to bear further fruit in 2006, with the Charlie May vs. Sasha cut ‘Seal Clubbing’, a smash record for Renaissance.
Returning to the Spooky fold for a third album, ‘Open’, (2007), Spooky found themselves in New York City (during the album promo tour), where they settled to collaborate with Sasha on a succession of new productions for the DJ’s fresh label Emfire including ‘Coma’ and ‘Who Killed Sparky’. Off the back of these well-received cuts, the duo was brought in to assist with the production of ‘Involv2er’, the second volume in Sasha’s DJ mix/remixes series.
After a series of successful solo releases and remixes for various labels including Bedrock, Mayhem, Microcastle and Indigo amongst others, May has since established himself as a successful and in demand dj on the international club circuit. Regularly performing at venues worldwide from Pacha in Buenos Aires to Warung in Brazil to Chinese Laundry in Sydney.
Current studio projects include collaborations with James Lavelle/Unkle as well as Ulrich Schnauss. Singles for Bedrock and an ambient album of previously unreleased material.

Kasey Taylor began his DJ career at the age of 13 on the decks at a little roller disco in Australia, and he’s gone on to now become one of Australia’s biggest ever dance music exports, and one of the most widely recognised DJ’s around the globe today.
To date, his career resume is an impressive read, ticking off gigs at almost every big show in Melbourne and having held residencies at every club worth noting.
In particular, Kasey played an integral role in creating the magic that was the ‘Mansion’. In fact, it was such an institution that you felt like you were at a dedicated church for music every Saturday night.
The venue has gone down in clubbing history and during Kasey’s time spent there, he played alongside everyone you could imagine - like Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Carl Cox, Satoshi Tomiie and the list goes on and on.
In fact, so impressed was Digweed that he invited Kasey to play at his Bedrock night in London twice. A night, and a brand recognised by the music industry as one of the greatest in the world. Kasey was lucky enough to be invited to play 2 years in a row on Easter Thursday, which is one of the biggest Bedrock nights of the year.
On top of this, he’s also supported at all major festivals in Australia like Renaissance, Global Underground, Two Tribes, Future Music Festival, Summadayze and so on. He has a very loyal fan base at Rainbow Serpent Festival in his hometown of Melbourne, which now holds the reputation of being up there as one the best outdoor festivals in the world - a festival where Kasey plays each and every year. In Australia in February 2011, he was also asked to be the exclusive DJ to support the Leftfield & Infusion tour around the country. A tour, in his words, ‘was simply an amazing experience to be a part of’.

From early DJ Jony DQ showed interest in music is not house music your first love, but the longer the time it became a necessity "feel the beat", and it was then that he began to feel that their destiny was there .

He then gain more skills and over the things in your investing was more professional until his first appearance was at a birthday party at the VIP club in Chaves. From then decided to invest more in their career and decided to go through the studios of the port where Bimotordj deepened his knowledge with the help of DJ Petty.

A few months later decided to accept a proposal to be resident in Bfashion bar / bar far one whose description speaks for itself, where he learned to like his work in a very intimate with people and always with great and diverse music culture, in that time was some time at the club's look (keys) and the Library bar.

Anyone who has followed Neil Quigley throughout his career knows that he has always been a purveyor of the finest deep and tech house. His early DJ mixes were so revered that when one fell into the hands of a certain John Digweed, the result was a residency alongside him at his world famous Bedrock parties.

Fast forward to present day, and Neil now brings his brand of ‘electronic house with soul’ to clubs and festivals all over the world, and directly to your iPod through his podcasts and recent mix compilation for Renaissance. These days it’s not just Neil’s abilities behind the decks that have caused people to sit up and take notice. From early collaborations with Nick Muir and Milton Jackson, to present day releases on labels such as Dessous, Plastic City and Renaissance, Neil’s growing reputation as a formidable producer has seen him work with artists such as Roykssop’s Erlend Øye and British pop star La Roux.

Raised in the small town of Rio Maior, Delko has always been in close contact with all kinds of music such as Rock, Alternative and Electronic Music, escaping well away from the mainstream music.Delko’s major influences mainly come from the Detroit Techno scene as well as the fascination from the abstract and deep sounds involving dark atmospheric sounds, in which he conveys these influences into his own releases.

A fixture in Halifax's electronic music scene for more than 15 years, Sean has earned the respect of electronic music lovers, DJs and promoters all over Canada and beyond with his intelligent blend of deep house, tech-house and progressive.  From deep melodies to touch, driving baselines, Sean is capable of pleasing even the most stubborn of dancefloors.
One look at his resume only serves to enhance these claims.  Sean has played alongside some of the world's biggest and most respected DJs including Armin Van Buuren, Deep Dish, Danny Howells, DJ Dan, John 'Quivver' Graham, Luke Fair, Sultan and his impromptu tag session with Sasha in 2003 which remains as one of Halifax's most enduring electronic music memories.
As if further proof was needed, Sean nabbed top spot in last years Bedrock & Beatport Structures Two mix contest which saw his mix judged by the likes of Oliver Lieb, Robert Babicz, Matthew from King Unique, Nick Muir and John Digweed himself.  As a result Sean was given a guest spot on John's hugely popular 'Transitions' Radio show!

Sharing light through sound. Radiosity is an one hour long mix with a selection of recent progressive tracks which combines energetic and melodic themes. As the set evolves you will find several musical invitations to visit different emotional states.
The success of an artistic experience is ultimately determined neither by the artist alone, nor by the artist-audience relation, but by an infinite conjunction of inputs, which, in an (currently) somewhat obscure way, consolidate into emotions. That's what radiosity is all about. If you search for the meaning of radiosity, you'll find various uses of the word. Even so, all of them have this notion of indirect implications which were the inspiration for this set's name.

He started his career as Producer in 1999 after some years as Dj. To gain his musical and personal horizon he moved to Europe in 2005.
He worked for labels like "Kung Fu Dub Recordings", "Whiplash" and also publishing in other labels. This year Signed for Diametral Records with a great track called “Lion Tamer”.  Also signed for " Flash Recordings " a elegant track called “Cortinas Rojas”. He had performed and rocked clubs in Argentina, Germany, England, France and Spain with his hot beats and his outstanding live performances.

Kinetic is the musical alter-ego of Lisbon-born (1975) Nuno Mendonça, music addict since the womb. From a very young age he traded kicking a football around, for playing with small radio-K7 recorders using them to create compilations for himself or his friends. Over time he has absorbed all sorts of musical influences, willing to follow everything that was happening in the world of sound and always ready to uncover any trends. At a New-Years-Eve party in the beginning of the 90´s, he ´accidentally´ discovered and fell in love with electronic dance music, because he could establish parallels between the heavier rock which had since taken hold of his imagination, and the more ´underground´ styles of this machine-driven world. In 2006, the ´Kinetic´ entity was born, which as the name suggests, lives obsessed with movement and the ability to unite people from various trends in that movement. His style roams between the more foward-thinking, abstract and psychedelic strains of techno and Prog-House, dominated by gloomy, dark and alien sounds.

I decided to record this set to celebrate a year of "Floating Beats Sessions"! Music is something which I cannot live without, especially the electronic sounds. A year ago, as I was recording mixes with some frequency, I decided to start a podcast to share the work that went making. There then arose the FBS without any definite style, is not only deephouse, house, progressive, tech house or techno... are just floating beats with which I intend to convey what I think explain the music concept: It's an art form, is a fusion of elements that convey emotions and can make the body move. After some time I begin to put some sessions on SoundCloud and later to start a weekly radio show.
It's being a pleasure to share with you the FBS and I hope that those who listen can feel the sounds that float and end up falling on your body... Stay tuned!
